Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, issued an official notice on August 31, 2026, addressing all affiliated government and non-government colleges regarding the undergraduate Sociology curriculum under the National Education Policy 2020. The directive, which follows an order from the Directorate of Higher Education dated July 29, 2026, addresses translation discrepancies between the Hindi and English versions of the syllabus. It mandates that the English version of the curriculum must be considered authentic and authoritative in case of any inconsistency. Colleges are instructed to conduct all teaching, study, and examination evaluation activities in accordance with the English version.
