Office Order- Code of Ethics and Conduct For Research (2026)

Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, Durg, has issued an official order dated July 17, 2026, amending Clause 9.4 of the Code of Ethics and Conduct for Research (2026) for research scholars. This immediate-effect amendment defines the rights and boundaries regarding peaceful expression, dissent, and assembly for Ph.D. and research students in accordance with Article 19 of the Constitution. While scholars are permitted to hold peaceful discussions and express dissent without disrupting university operations, any acts of violence, property damage, intimidation, hate speech, or threats to national sovereignty are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in disciplinary action under university rules or legal reporting to competent authorities, while all other provisions of the original research code remain unchanged.
