सेवानिवृत्त प्राध्यापकों एवं वैज्ञानिकों के पेंशन प्रकरणों के निराकरण हेतु हर संभव प्रयास: कृषि विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन - पेंशनरों का महंगाई भत्ता 55 प्रतिशत से बढ़ाकर 58 प्रतिशत किया गया

The Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya administration has announced proactive measures to resolve pending pension and gratuity cases for retired professors and scientists. Out of forty-two pending cases, fifteen retired staff are currently receiving ninety percent pension as interim relief, another fifteen cases have been sent to the Local Fund Audit for verification, and twelve are under active consideration. Additionally, the university has issued an order increasing the dearness allowance for pensioners from fifty-five percent to fifty-eight percent. Regarding the demand to increase the retirement age of working university scientists from sixty-two to sixty-five years, the proposal has been passed by the Board of Management and is currently awaiting final guidance from the state government.
