The First Appellate Authority of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya has issued an order regarding an RTI appeal filed by Shri Deepak Lal concerning insurance details under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana for the Korea district. The appeal was dismissed because the Public Information Officer of the Late Dr. Ramchandra Singh Dev Agriculture College and Research Centre had already forwarded the application to the relevant Deputy Director of Agriculture of Korea district, who holds the actual records. The appellant is advised to contact the Deputy Director of Agriculture directly for the requested information. If unsatisfied with this decision, the appellant has the option to file a second appeal with the State Information Commission within 90 days.
