Notification - The Academic Council in its 152nd meeting held on 31st July 2026, approved the Academic Calendar for Academic Session 2026-2027. This will be effective for Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Ph.D. programme of different faculties. Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya has approved the academic calendar for the 2026-2027 session across all undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs, with initial registration starting on August 25, 2026. For second, third, and fourth-year undergraduate students in agricultural, agricultural engineering, and food technology courses, regular classes and the RAWE or READY programs will officially commence on September 10, 2026. Affected students are required to report to their respective colleges on this commencement date to begin their academic activities. Furthermore, the tentative deadline for online course registration and fee deposition for these returning undergraduate cohorts is scheduled for September 15, 2026.
