अधिसूचना -विश्वविद्यालय के मुख्य परिसर में "Centre of Excellence for Artifical Intelligence & Emerging Technologies (CoE-AIET)" की स्थापना के सम्बन्ध में ।

Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University Chhattisgarh has officially announced the establishment of the Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies on its main campus, following approvals from council meetings held in August 2026. Under this new initiative, the university will offer certificate, diploma, and PG diploma programs in AI, Machine Learning, Drone Technology, and Data Science, as well as faculty development training. The center is tasked with developing AI-based personalized learning tools, proctoring systems, and translation datasets for local languages including Chhattisgarhi, Gondi, and Halbi. Additionally, the department will focus on regional research, support AI startup incubation, and provide consultation services to state government departments.
